Gallery One
shows examples of tables and chairs made from a variety of local woods.

Gate leg table and chairs made from Sycamore. The gentle curves in the chairs are formed by "steam bending". A feature of the table is the unusual wooden hinge.

Larch kitchen table and bench.
Farmhouse table and benches made from Larch.
The table measures 1950 mm. long by 950 mm. wide.

Example of decorative wedging of mortice and tenon joints
Mortice and tenon joint detail between the table rails and leg. Apart from being very strong it is also a decorative feature.

The decorative wedged mortice and tenon joints in the table are echoed here in the accompanying bench.
The joint detail is continued as a theme in the benches as well.
