Our range of coat hanger designs are simple, elegant and strong.
A few months ago, a client who we had recently made a table and chairs for, told us of her difficulty in finding good quality sturdy coat hangers made from wood, and she went on to enquire whether we were able to make some for her. Of course we were able to do so and have continued to make them in small batches ever since.

The Designs

Coat Hanger Design 1 (Sycamore)

Material:
Our coat hangers are available in a choice of locally grown hardwoods. Oak, Ash, Cherry, Sycamore, Beech, Alder and Elm (when available).

Finish:
Each coat hanger is meticulously sanded and then hand finished with wax polish.

Dimensions:
The hanger rail is 440 mm wide, the wood thickness is 17mm.
The hook is made from solid 6mm diameter aluminium bar.

The coat hangers are supplied in sets of 10 made from the same species of wood:
Design One & Design Three are priced at £140
Design Two & Design Four are priced at £185

Carriage: This price does not include postage, which is charged at £15 per order to addresses in the UK.

Design Five

Design Five is a new addition to our range, offering a sympathetic blend of contemporary and classical styling.

These coat hangers are slightly taller than our earlier designs and the wood thickness is increased to about 25mm.

The gentle curve in the upper rail around the hook adds an interesting visual dimension and this shape can also add support to a garment's collar.

The inset detail shows the generous wood thickness and the joint detail between the upper and trouser rails.
